About us
The Academia De Arte Avanty is a non-profit organization specialized in the
teaching of classical ballet, located in the city of Puerto Plata REP.DOM. It is founded on September 1, 2008 under the direction of ballet teacher Madelaine Ledesma, a Cuban based in the Dominican Republic.

Avanty was born with the aim of instilling in the community a love for art and dance.
We work with the methodology of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) giving it the
opportunity for our students each year to receive international recognition.

Mission
Promote and expand the teaching of classical dance, training professional dancers and competitive amateurs who can perform in artistic companies nationally and internationally, with recognized and endorsed studies worldwide.
